64 - Jug and Egg
Another Goodwill find. I've never seen a jug like this as a pitcher before. Most of the jugs I've seen like this were used for music. Either way it was a great way to play with different "whites." And shine on the different surfaces. The egg got a little over exposed by my camera, but hopefully you'll get the idea.

63 - Commuters 2
I painted this a little while ago. But, Fall is upon us again... Seemed the right time to post it. When the mood strikes, it's nice to be able to count on finding people waiting for the train. I've found some great subjects here. The power station was fun too. It has such cool lighting at night... May be a while before I get out to see it again.

61 - Wright Woods Rocks
I was able to sneak out for a few hours today. Around here you really have to plan ahead...especially with out a car. I've been looking for a chance to capture the fall colors. Stumbled upon this scene, and had to set up. With these out door scenes, you have to work pretty fast to catch the light before it changes.
I was able to take some photo references of a few horse riders before I began too. A nice surprise. Should make for some more fun later...

60 - Orphans of the Storm Fundraiser #4 - Frida
This is the fourth in the series of paintings will have 100% (Less shipping) of the final bid donated to "Orphans of the Storm." It is our local shelter and where my last 4 dogs have come from. So they've been a top notch shelter for most of my life. All the dogs have come home with some basic training, so you know they spend a lot of time with them. Facebook asked me to start a Birthday fundraiser, and I said "why not." This was the first and only place I considered donating to. As of today we have raised $352 for the shelter (painting sales have yet to be added)... pretty good considering my goal was $200!
Anyway, pictured here is Frida. She's one well traveled pooch. Her story began in Texas, being found in a yard with her sister in a box. She was taken in by a rescue down there and ended up being fostered by a friend of a friend in Illinois. Danithza Olsen heard about her and was captivated! She drove all the way from Las Vegas to meet her, and adopt her. She now resides in Las Vegas with two other hairless dogs and a boxer named Lucca! I'm told they make a happy family, though Lucca can be a handful. Ira Klein was kind enough to donate this image to the cause.
I'll be posting one or two more paintings for the fundraiser over the next couple of days. They will all start a ridiculously low prices, so please donate what you can. It's for a good cause.
The Facebook fundraiser has ended, but the Facebook link is still active. A link to the organization is listed below. Should you just wish to donate directly, please do so here: Donate

Anyway, pictured here are Roxy and Piper. They are part of the Cameron family, Stephanie was kind enough to donate this image to the cause. Susan, gave me permission to paint her little Piper. These two came to the family in very different ways. Roxy the Pit Bull mix was adopted from a neighbor as a puppy. I'm not entirely sure of how Piper came to them.
